On Monday, April 7, Steve woke up around 3AM with a headache and vomited. After a sleepless night, he wandered from room to room holding his head. Steve walked into the kitchen, where he had his first seizure. Jacque and Mark immediately called 911 and was rushed to the hospital, where he was placed on life support and labeled as critical condition. He was soon diagnosed with Pneumococcal Meningitis and Sepsis. MRIs have revealed swelling of the brain and EEGs have shown lack of brain activity.
However, God’s report is not the report of the doctors. Steve has been anointed to preach the Gospel to the nations and we are believing for a complete miracle in Steve’s life. Please continue praying for the Sullivan family: Pray for peace and rest for Jacque, Josiah and Caroline, Mark and Heather, and Lindsey. Pray for wisdom and guidance for the nurses and doctors monitoring Steve. Pray against worsening infection and against organ failure in Steve’s body. Pray that the antibiotics will work quickly and efficiently. Pray for relief of any pain Steve may be experiencing. Pray for Steve to fully regain the ability to breathe on his own. Most importantly, pray for rest, peace, and comprehension for Steve as he is unaware of his surroundings.Thank you for continuing to cover the Sullivan family in prayer.
