Mike & Tranette Stevens
Lead Pastor / Church Administrator
Pastor Mike Stevens has been a church planter since 2000. He and his wife Tranette have three grown sons. Pastor Mike grew up in a non-Christian home but was saved at the age of 19 due to the miraculous intervention of God. After some years of battling to understand the things of God, Mike was touched by the Holy Spirit and a love for the imperfect church was added to his love and concern for the lost. Since then, he has endeavored to serve God humbly, be led by the Spirit, and advance the cause of Christ however possible. Education and Ministry Experience: Pastor Mike received a BA in Philosophy from Bemidji State and an MA in Philosophy from Northern Illinois University. Later he completed his course work for ministry credentials through Berean University. Pastor Mike has served as a Sunday School Teacher, Worship Leader, Grounds Keeper, Janitor, Small Group Leader, Youth Leader, Youth Center Coordinator, Mission’s Trip Coordinator, and Church Planter/Pastor. Pastor Mike's Testimony
Corey & Nicole Pond
Campus Pastor / Campus Administrator at GH Morgan Park
Pastor Corey became a follower of Christ in 2002, the year his girlfriend, now wife, was transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. She went from a severely depressed, angry woman, to a purpose and joy filled woman. This prompted Corey to dig into God’s Word and search the scriptures. His faith began to grow during this time. Pastor Corey and Nicole were married in 2003. In 2007, Corey started to get ill, and this produced years of tumultuous character growth. Pastor Corey and his family started attending Good Hope Church in Cloquet in 2012. He became a Credentialed Pastor through the Assemblies of God in 2016. They have two children, a son and a daughter. Corey and Nicole have lived in Morgan Park for 16 years now and have a heart to reach their community. Pastor Corey believes that God has a plan for each and every person and desires to see people’s lives be transformed by the power of God. Email – Pastor Corey Pond Email – Nicole Pond

Children's Ministry Pastor -GH Cloquet
Vicky grew up in a small farming community in central Minnesota with her home church being Crystal Hills Assembly of God. Her testimony involves growing up in an alcoholic home and losing her mother at a young age. Though you will always find the words on Vicky’s heart to be “God is faithful!” She attended UMD and felt the call to youth ministry. After completing Tent Maker Training and serving two years in a church in Illinois, she returned to Minnesota to teach for a few years, and start a family with her husband, Ryan. Vicky has been at Good Hope since the first Sunday and the Lord opened the door for her to step back into ministry—this time with elementary aged children. She earned her Assembly of God credentials in the Spring of 2015 and serves as the Children’s Ministry Pastor. Email Pastor Vicky

Preschool Pastor at GH Cloquet and Volunteer Coordinator
Celia grew up in a Christian home but never had a church to call home. She would attend church with a friend for youth group and sometimes on Sundays growing up. Once she left home, she fell away from God and didn’t attend church for years. After meeting with Pastor Mike, she knew Good Hope Church was the place she wanted to raise her family with her husband Greg. She has been with Good Hope Church since it began in 2010. She has been married to Greg since 2010 and a mother of 5, one heavenly, which is part of her testimony on how God meets you no matter where you are in your walk with Him. She got her credentials through the Assembly of God in March 2016 and now serves as the Preschool Pastor and the Volunteer Coordinator. Email Pastor Celia

Heather Bulgrin is grateful to be a wife and a stay-at-home mom of 2 boys. She has lived as much of her life as she could manage in northern MN and hopes to never have to leave again. She finds joy in following her boys’ sports teams, snuggling with them on the couch, and watching the change of seasons outside her kitchen window – her most favorite view anywhere.
What do you like most about your job? A better question would be, “What don’t you like about your job?” and the answer would be NOTHING. I was created to worship and feel more fulfilled and complete when I’m worshiping than at any other time.
