Pastor Mike's Testimony
Pastor Larry was brought up in a thriving Christian family, actively involved in the church. After several years of running from God and working through the struggles of life, he realized that a relationship with God is the one thing that really matters. Pastor Larry has been involved in ministry on some level for many years as a teacher, preacher, and worship leader. After years of being a business manager and business owner he has answered the call to move into full-time ministry. Pastor Larry and his wife, Lisa, were high school sweethearts and have been married since 1987. They have two adult children and one grandchild. The driving force behind Pastor Larry’s role here at Good Hope Church is his desire to help as many people as possible experience the close, one on one relationship with God that He wants with all of us. Children's Ministry Pastor
Vicky grew up in a small farming community in central Minnesota with her home church being Crystal Hills Assembly of God. Her testimony involves growing up in an alcoholic home and losing her mother at a young age. Though you will always find the words on Vicky’s heart to be “God is faithful!” She attended UMD and felt the call to youth ministry. After completing Tent Maker Training and serving two years in a church in Illinois, she returned to Minnesota to teach for a few years, and start a family with her husband, Ryan. Vicky has been at Good Hope since the first Sunday and the Lord opened the door for her to step back into ministry—this time with elementary aged children. She earned her Assembly of God credentials in the Spring of 2015 and serves as the Children’s Ministry Pastor. Email Pastor Vicky
Preschool Pastor and Volunteer Coordinator
Celia grew up in a Christian home but never had a church to call home. She would attend church with a friend for youth group and sometimes on Sundays growing up. Once she left home, she fell away from God and didn’t attend church for years. After meeting with Pastor Mike, she knew Good Hope Church was the place she wanted to raise her family with her husband Greg. She has been with Good Hope Church since it began in 2010. She has been married to Greg since 2010 and a mother of 5, one heavenly, which is part of her testimony on how God meets you no matter where you are in your walk with Him. She got her credentials through the Assembly of God in March 2016 and now serves as the Preschool Pastor and the Volunteer Coordinator.
